The transport of dangerous goods by road is regulated by a law (RIMP) that sets strict guidelines on the routes that vehicles must take from their origin to their destination. Until now, all APIs / Route calculation platforms or navigators for trucks only allowed the calculation taking into account the restrictions indicated by traffic signs: this includes passage prohibitions for this type of transport, in addition to restrictions linked to the dimensions and weight of the vehicle.
