Our startup, TORCH Smart Urban Solutions Ltd, emerges in response to the urgent challenges facing modern cities in terms of digitization, sustainable mobility, social inclusion, security, and environmental preservation. To address these challenges, we integrate the potential of Industry 4.0 into urban infrastructures to serve citizens sustainably, with the UN's SDGs as a reference point.
Currently, we are developing Torch, a patented smart modular bus stop system that attaches to existing stop poles. It features real-time information, citizen security systems, and green data capture. The system is Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT)-managed and operates self-sufficiently powered by renewable energy. Torch's composition, based on interchangeable modules, allows for optimized operations, providing a flexible and adaptable solution to the local context with a highly scalable global business model.
Torch has been awarded and recognized by relevant industry bodies such as TMB and UITP ( International association for public transport), among others.
Additionally, we have other patents such as the Autonomous Intelligent Traffic Light, which is already being marketed internationally.
