At Cepsa we continue to be committed to sustainable mobility and we want to move towards the future by achieving a tangible impact from the present, which is why, in 2023 we began the production of 100% HVO Renewable Diesel in our Energy Park in Huelva and began marketing it in our network of Service Stations. With this product, we want to help our professional customers advance in the energy transition of their activity by offering them this second-generation biofuel. Among its advantages is that it is a sustainable product, as it reduces CO2 emissions by up to 90% compared to fossil fuels (throughout its life cycle); it is compatible with diesel engines from Euro 6 onwards, it is not necessary to make any modifications or additional investments to be able to start using it; It is made from organic waste and used cooking oils, and we ensure the traceability of our biofuel from the origin of the raw material to its arrival at the Service Station.
