Data2Innovate is an innovation program based on data analysis to improve distribution efficiency. We develop technology that allows us to optimise the last mile in two very specific aspects: the optimal delivery time slots and the calculation of CO2 emissions from transport. Regarding the time slots, using the previous history of deliveries in a given location, our system can determine the time slot with the highest probability to make the delivery. In this way, failed delivery is significantly reduced. Regarding CO2 emissions, we offer a standard system based on the GHG protocol to measure and manage the impact of emissions on last-mile distribution. Thus, the end customer can know in advance the emissions generated by the chosen transport option and the carrier and merchant can offer standardized information on the impact of their operations.
